DYMO LabelWriter Wireless

$112.49

The DYMO LabelWriter Wireless is DYMO’s printer with built in WiFi, allowing users to print 2×7″ labels from a computer, tablet, or phone through a WiFi network.

Overview:

Who needs cables? Since most new computers now come without any built-in USB ports, we at Shipping School are big fans of wireless capability. It’s the way of the future, and for some reason, so few printing companies have yet to take that into account. When you’ve got a printer with WiFi capability, you don’t need to confine yourself to a desk or a single computer. You can use your computer, of course, but you can also use your smartphone to print your labels. This is huge. Therefore, the DYMO LabelWriter Wireless is far and away our top choice out of all of DYMO’s printers. If you’re cool with shelling out $112 for a label printer, the DYMO LabelWriter Wireless is absolutely the way we would go.

That said, we know that while the ability to print labels from a smartphone is a huge plus for us, not everyone feels the same way. So, if having a wireless printer doesn’t mean a whole lot to you, there are other 2×7″ label printers you could look into before making a purchase. Some options out there cost much less money than the DYMO LabelWriter does, and they actually print out labels much faster…like the Brother QL-800, for example.
