Fosdick Fulfillment is an industry leading bi-coastal fulfillment company with over fifty years of experience in fulfilling direct to consumer orders. Their company has worked with a wide range of clients over the years such as General Electric, IBM, and American Express. Fosdick was even in charge of sending out Richard Simmons’ famous exercise videos back in the day. If you’ve never seen one, check this out. You’re welcome.

Overview:

Fosdick Fulfillment is an enormous company with over 50 years of experience in the fulfillment business. They specialize in fulfillment for E-commerce retailers, subscription boxes, and brick-and-mortar retail distribution. They also provide credit card processing services and television direct response fulfillment (think infomercials). In addition, Fosdick provides clients with favorable postage rates and access to their “best in the business” shipping network. However, you’re not going to beat the kind of postage discounts you’ll get from using shipping software to buy postage online. That’s always something to keep in mind, even when your business does start outsourcing fulfillment. To speak frankly, since they’re such a big company, we don’t think it makes sense to work with them unless you’re willing to shell out a big budget.

    I cannot express how absolutely awful Fosdick is. Fosdick will never take responsibility for any issues. You will be thrown to the wayside as soon as you sign on with them. The reps will not respond to you for days and days even after consistent outreach. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! P.S. These issues were felt well before COVID-19 so this is not a result of that. They have been terrible for years and are only getting worse as more people get tricked into signing on with them. Constant shipping issues, constant lying and blaming the courier when it is blatantly the fault of Fosdick (I know this because we’ve caught them in this lie numerous times), just a constant mess. Don’t let the low cost trick you. You’re better off paying more because your customers will hate you because of the awful Fosdick experience. I promise.

    We switched over to Fosdick when our subscription box business started blowing up. I can honestly say we’d be lost without Fosdick – we weren’t prepared for that kind of explosive growth that quickly but they’re the perfect fulfillment partner for us!
