USPS Unveils Year of the Boar Forever Stamp

Each year to celebrate the Lunar New Year, USPS designs a new forever stamp. 2018’s Lunar New Year Stamp was the Dog. For 2019, USPS recently unveiled the colorful Year of the Boar Forever Stamp. With an aesthetically pleasing color mix of purple, teal, and gold, this new stamp is an eye-catcher, if we do say so ourselves!

Where Can I Buy the Year of the Boar Forever Stamp?

You can buy these Year of the Boar Forever Stamps at your local post office or on the USPS website. Some retail stores also sell these stamps, such as Walmart and Office Depot. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get them when you use online shipping software to buy discounted postage.

Does the Year of the Boar Forever Stamp Cost More Than Regular Forever Stamps?

It does not. All Forever Stamps cost exactly the same amount of money ($0.50 at the time of publishing this article). However, keep in mind that USPS recently announced they would raise postage prices, taking effect on January 27th. After the 27th, Forever Stamps will increase from $0.50 to $0.55 each. Prices of Global Forever stamps will stay the same at $1.15 each.
