Sheila Holman is the Postal Service’s new Vice President of Marketing, who brings more than 25 years’ worth of experience in the private sector to the role. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy appointed her to the position in January 2021.
Duties and Responsibilities
As Vice President of Marketing, Sheila Holman will report directly to Steven Monteith, USPS Chief Customer and Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President. On a broad level, Holman will concentrate on improving efficiency and driving business growth for the Postal Service. She will act as corporate lead on branding, industry engagement, innovation and marketing insights, as well as stamp services. Holman will also support operations such as Retail & Delivery, Logistics & Processing, and Commerce & Business Solutions. As part of the executive marketing team, Holman will lead the effort to focus on customers and industry to grow revenue, as well as ensuring consistency across the USPS brand, marketing, sales, industry strategies, and messaging.
Sheila Holman’s Background
Prior to joining te Postal Service, Holman has held executive positions in a variety of companies. She served as chief marketing officer at Framebridge Home Decor, global vice president at Marriott International, and marketing vice president at the Travel Channel. She also served as area marketing and sales manager at the Coca-Cola Company.
Ms. Holman graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science, Industrial, and Operations Engineering degree. She then went on to earn a Master’s in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Holman also holds professional certification in Digital Marketing from George Washington University.
