Steven Monteith is the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer (CCMO) and Executive Vice President for the United States Postal Service. He is a 30-year veteran of USPS, and succeeded former CCMO Jacqueline Strako when he assumed his current role.

All in all, Monteith’s main focus is to help the Postal Service improve its customers’ experiences. He leads all initiatives and strategies to help make USPS a more consumer-centric organization.
Steven Monteith’s Background
Monteith graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Colombia University, and obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He started off with USPS as a management intern and went on to hold a variety of positions, such as manager of Pricing, manager of Transactions and Correspondence Mail, executive director of USPS’ Human Capital and Enterprise System, manager of Customer Service Systems Support, and manager of Marketing Analysis and Support.
Before assuming his current role, Monteith served as executive director of Product Management for Mailing and Shipping Services, during which he was responsible for managing all domestic products.
