Steven Monteith is Vice President of Marketing for the United States Postal Service. He is a 30-year veteran of USPS.
Duties and Responsibilities
As Marketing VP, Steven Monteith reports to Jacqueline Strako, USPS’ current Chief Customer and Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President. On a broad level, Monteith helps develop and implement strategies for USPS to continuously enhance their customers’ experiences. He oversees multiple sectors within the organization, which we’ve listed out below:

- Industry Engagement
- Product Management for Mailing and Shipping Products and Services

Steven Monteith’s Background
Monteith graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Colombia University, and obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He started off with USPS as a management intern and went on to hold a variety of positions, such as manager of Pricing, manager of Transactions and Correspondence Mail, executive director of USPS’ Human Capital and Enterprise System, manager of Customer Service Systems Support, and manager of Marketing Analysis and Support.
Before assuming his current role, Monteith served as executive director of Product Management for Mailing and Shipping Services, during which he was responsible for managing all domestic products.
